“Because we all need a reminder of the good times, past, and present. No matter how literal that reminder is”

This print was made using old marquee zip-track slides as my film positives to create a pseudo letterpress technique with screen printing. The subtle textures from each letter's age are highlighted nicely by the archival paper surface.

Each print also features a top “scuff” layer made by the artist altering a film with found tools. This process mimics the wear and tare of the marquee letters.

This is the final edition of Le Bon Temps. It is a split edition of 40. With 20 of each color.

Due to the unique method of printing each print is unique.
