Wires 5:02pm is a part of the on going series “The spaces between” that takes a look into the extra-ordinary, using cut paper illustration and the screen printing process. This body of work was inspired by walks around the neighborhood over the past few months — taking focus on daily scenery that we may often pass by during our regularly busy schedules.
For these pieces I used a method of cut paper illustration to mimic the traditional rubylith process. Each color layer was hand cut, and pasted onto individual film layers to produce a positive for screen printing.
